Fresh Flower Care

  • A clean vase is key (and we’ll provide you with a new one for your first delivery). Wash with warm water and soap, and let air dry - using a towel can introduce bacteria into the vase. Fill with warm tap water, and a bit of flower food (we’ll give you that with each bouquet).

  • Keep your arrangement in a cooler spot of the room, away from direct light.

  • Keep an eye on that water - especially with zinnias in the mix! Refresh the water every other day.

  • On the third day, give the stems a little trim at a 45 degree angle (along with some fresh water and more flower food). This will help them rehydrate. If any foliage is now below the water line, remove it (leaves in the water will cause bacteria). Remove any wilting stems if need be.

  • Soak up the beauty of the colorful arrangement - there’s nothing like fresh flowers!
